Alan was born in Chicago in 1935.

He died in Santa Monica,Ca in 2001.

Alan was bitten by the Show Business Bug when he gave a ride to Jerry Lewis in his speed boat in Miami Beach,Fla. in the 50's.

Alan would bring home to his mother Rock and Roll Artists such as Eric Clapton, Bonnie and Delaney for dinner. The request would always be for home made gefilte fish and matzoah ball soup.

He was adored by his nieces and nephews for his heart stopping rides in his Dino Ferrari.

He was a friend to a great many artists making his home available to them in good times and bad.
